Logo use

Our logo is a Landolt ring, the broken ring that every eye chart in Japan uses, with a small square of vermilion in its gap where light gets in.

The marks
The logo. Ink, with the vermilion square. On dark backgrounds, the ring reverses to white and the square stays vermilion.

Use

Who may use it

Grantees may use the logo to say that a project is funded by the Foundation, on materials about that project, without asking. You need not use it at all if mentioning us would put anyone at risk.

Journalists may use the logo in reporting about the Foundation.

Nobody may use the logo or the seal to suggest that the Foundation endorses a product, a clinic or an implant, and this includes Kiroshi Opticals, which under the 1996 Arrangement may say that the Foundation exists but not that it endorses anything the company makes. If you see the logo used to sell something, please tell us at info@kiroshi.org.
